atcs engineers in the field and in product development work closely with our customers to understand their technology needs now and in the future.ResponsabilidadesThe Process Engineer is responsible for defining, developing, and supporting robust assembly and manufacturing processes during production line transfers and sustaining activities.
The role focuses on deep process understanding and execution, ensuring stable, repeatable, and capable production for power connectors and cable assemblies.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine, document, and release assembly and manufacturing processes during production line transferSupport the Engineering Manager in defining assembly process flow, station content,



and technical requirementsDevelop and standardize press and applicator setup parametersExecute and document crimp validation activities (crimp height, pull force, microsections)Provide technical support during line ramp‐up and sustaining productionTroubleshoot process‐related issues such as crimp defects, gaps, deformation, and assembly variationSupport cycle time optimization and line balancing from a process capability perspectiveProvide technical input and countermeasures to Operations‐owned PFMEA and Control PlansSupport rework method development and validation from a process standpointParticipate in sample builds, First Article, and transfer validation activitiesScope & AuthorityTechnical ownership of manufacturing process definition during line transferAuthority to recommend and implement process improvements within approved design and process boundariesSuccess MetricsProcess stability during and after line transferReduction of process‐related defects and reworkCrimp capability and consistencyRamp‐up performance and issue closure timeRequisitosRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering (connectors or cable assemblies preferred)Hands‐on experience with crimping processes and press/applicator setupExperience supporting production line ramp‐up or transfersDesired Skills & AttributesStrong understanding of power cable and terminal crimpingExperience with high‐current connectors and cable assembliesPractical knowledge of process capability and SPCHands‐on, shop‐floor oriented mindsetStructured problem‐solving skills#J-*****-Ljbffr
