- Lead end-to-end OpenSCAD projects from requirements gathering through final model export.
- Structure and document parametric scripts with reusable modules and clearly defined parameters.
- Apply Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) techniques to develop complex 3D models and 2D-to-3D extrusions.
- Rapidly iterate on parametric designs, demonstrating logical, script-driven engineering decisions.
- Prepare and export files (STL, OFF, and other standard formats) for manufacturing or prototyping workflows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clearly explaining design rationale and technical trade-offs.
- Document professional workflows and thought processes to support AI-driven design initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience completing full OpenSCAD projects from concept to final export.
- Strong foundation in CAD principles and CSG methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or comparable CAD tools.
- Experience creating and optimizing reusable parametric modules and scripts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong technical clarity.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to team objectives.
- High attention to detail in engineering logic and design progression.
