C.H. Robinson is looking for a Carrier Manager in Monterrey to help launch and support a new customer account, playing a critical role in building carrier management processes, strengthening transportation partnerships, and driving operational success from the ground up. In this role, you will directly influence carrier performance, customer satisfaction, and the successful implementation of a new transportation program. As a Carrier Manager, you will use data, problem-solving, and relationship management skills to drive carrier performance, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders. You will help establish new ways of working, lead performance discussions, and deliver insights that improve transportation outcomes across a North American full truckload and LTL network. At C.H. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor compliance EDI adherence, routing guide compliance
- Publish and interpret scorecards and service metrics (tender acceptance, OTD, dwell, claims)
- Manage carrier escalations; implement corrective actions
- Maintain master data (lanes, service attributes) with high accuracy
- Work to continuously improve carrier management processes
- Support customer on large RFP exercises
- May participate in procurement projects including, but not limited to, data extraction, analysis, formatting,
and presentation of rates and data related to pricing requests
- Provide market and network insights to account team
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience
- Preferred: Experience with carrier monitoring and compliance processes
- Ability to travel (domestically and internationally)
- Professional experience in Procurement, carrier sales, transportation, logistics, and/or Supply Chain
- Exceptional facilitation skills including but not limited to relationship management, presentation, documentation and accountability
- Should possess strong root cause and analytical skills
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with various levels within customer organization (both written and verbal)
- Ability to identify, understand and execute based on market trends and pricing strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Skilled in interpreting KPIs and compliance metrics
- Advanced Excel and data visualization
