ADI Global Distribution is currently seeking an Associate Demand Planner to join their Demand Planning team.
The role includes demand management and inventory planning for specific product lines in the North American market.
The Planner will collaborate with multiple departments such as Product Management, Sales, Customers, Suppliers, Transportation, and Distribution.Job DutiesLead weekly buy and inventory management for assigned categories, ensuring alignment to service and inventory targetsOwn Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and supplier investment strategies to balance availability and working capitalDrive consensus demand planning by partnering with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Supply PlanningProactively manage supply constraints and risk mitigation, collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholdersAnalyze in-stock, fill rate, and forecast accuracy performance, leading initiatives to close gaps and improve KPIsPartner on and influence promotional and lifecycle planning, ensuring readiness for demand shifts and new product introductionsLead excess and obsolete inventory reduction strategies through data-driven insights and cross-functional action plansIdentify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices within demand planning workflowsAct as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior planners,
