Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer releases and forecasts.

Analyze customer demand fluctuations and adjust production plans accordingly.

Balance production capacity with customer requirements while minimizing overtime and inventory.

Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules with Production Managers and Supervisors.

Review material availability with Purchasing and Material Planning teams.

Monitor production constraints and develop recovery plans when necessary.

Ensure production schedules support customer delivery requirements (JIT/JIS where applicable).

Lead weekly production planning meetings.

Analyze customer releases, EDI schedules, forecasts, and firm orders.

Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

Coordinate Engineering Change implementation (ECN/ECR) to minimize obsolete inventory.

Support new program launches by developing production ramp-up schedules.

Monitor production performance versus schedule attainment.

Generate capacity analysis and identify bottlenecks.

Develop contingency plans for supplier shortages or production disruptions.





Coordinate with Customer Service regarding delivery priorities.

Monitor production adherence and schedule compliance.

Support inventory reduction initiatives while maintaining customer service levels.

Participate in continuous improvement activities related to production planning.

Ensure compliance with customer delivery performance KPIs.

Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding production planning performance.

Experience
5+ years of experience in Production Planning or Master Scheduling.

Experience in the Automotive Industry (Tier 1 preferred).

Experience with automotive sewing manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
