Reporting to the Aftermarket Manager, will provide onsite customer support for welding equipment installations, repairs, and training.
The idóneo candidate is technically oriented, highly motivated, and comfortable with frequent travel.
Delivering an exceptional customer experience is the primary responsibility of all team members within the department.Key Responsibilities:- Install, repair and train customers on ESAB welding equipment.
- Perform system startup, calibration and functional testing.
- Diagnose equipment issues by applying knowledge of electronic devices operation; identify rootcauses andperform necessary repairs.
- Prepare detailed technical reports documenting malfunctions, corrective actions, and deviationsfrom design specifications.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on customers' machines.
- Represent the company with positive, professional image always.
- Communicate eectively with customers, engineers, technicians, and production personnel toresolve technical issues.
- Assist other Field Service Engineers as needed.
- Make timely travel arrangements to meet customers' scheduling requirements.




- Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or 5 years of related experience; andequivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience with welding equipment a plus.
- Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals and applicableregulations.
- Desirable A2-B1 for English language.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare business correspondence, reports,and procedural instructions.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to present information and respond toquestions from customers, distributors, team members, and management.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision- Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- "Optional" Industrial Welding Knowledge.
- Able to travel frequently domestically, with occasional international travel.
