Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:The Sales & Use Tax Analyst plays a key role in supporting and improving sales and use tax compliance activities across the division.Core responsibilities include Sales and Use tax preparation support, historical remediation efforts, exemption certificate maintenance, and nexus analysis.The role partners closely with BU Finance and Customer Service teams and Corporate Tax to ensure accurate, timely, and well-documented indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and legal entities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Corporate Tax team on all data requests and reporting needs, including data needed to preparate and file of U.S. sales and use tax returns across state and local jurisdictionsAssist with remediation of historical tax filing gaps, back filings, and data clean-up initiativesSupport economic nexus and Wayfair-related analysis, including data gathering and exposure quantificationAssist with preparation of materials for voluntary disclosures, amnesty programs, and audit defenseMaintain customer sales tax exemption certificates, including collection, validation, and renewalsRespond to routine state and local tax notices and information requestsAssist with sales and use tax audits by gathering data and supporting documentationSupport implementation and ongoing use of sales tax automation tools and reporting solutionsDocument procedures and support continuous process improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field2–5 years of experience in sales and use tax, indirect tax, or related accounting rolesWorking knowledge of U.S. sales and use tax concepts including nexus, taxability, resale,
