Senior Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Location: Mexico City, Mexico (Calzada Manuel Gomez Morin #****, CALZADA).
Responsibilities Analyze equipment and conduct experimental tests to establish operating data.Perform engineering duties including manufacturing planning and the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus to ensure projects are completed on‐time and as per defined goals.Determine material and equipment needs and order supplies to ensure sufficient resources for project completion.Develop or perform operational, maintenance, or testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, or systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of engineering processes.Manage activities for the manufacture, construction, installation, maintenance, operation, or modification of electronic equipment, products, or systems to ensure smooth operations.Prepare, review or maintain maintenance schedules, design documentation, or operational reports and charts to track progress and performance.Resolve day‐to‐day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption.Troubleshoot electrical device problems to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.Design, fabricate, modify, and evaluate electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in other equipment and devices.Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.Produce products according to specifications using the most cost‐effective and efficient means.Analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components, including power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servo‐mechanisms.Apply knowledge of circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications,
semiconductor devices, solid state devices, and television systems.Work autonomously with limited supervision.Influence others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with corporate leaders through in‐person meetings, presentations, reports, and written correspondence.May be required to travel occasionally to the United States to support business needs.Qualifications University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience or Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.Proficient conversational and written English required.Experience in software management, installation of Windows applications for electrical testing programs, and PC hardware (port cards, video cards, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and reporting).
