Job Summary
The Assistant Controller is a key member of the Site management team, responsible for sound financial management, integrity of financial reporting, and performance enhancement.
Responsibilities
Accounting and Financial Reporting
Implement and maintain systems, processes and organization to ensure integrity and timeliness of financial reporting according to statutory requirements, ENNOVI financial policies & procedures.
Coordinate with Shared Services (Accounting) in India to ensure timely monthly accounting close and management reporting in accordance with Corporate HQ requirements.
Ensure assets and liabilities are fully recorded and stated at fair value, and P&L; reflects site financial performance.
Maintain balance‐sheet reconciliations and promptly resolve exposures.
Maintain and monitor key controls over BOM, routings, labour and overhead absorption rates to ensure accuracy of parts costing and gross profit margins.
Maintain close communication to ensure accurate financial outlook/forecast (P&L; and cash flows) with line management and relevant functions.
Report results to Corporate within stipulated timelines.
File statutory accounts in accordance with country requirements, including audited financial statements and taxation filings.
Transaction Processing & Internal Controls
Maintain a system of internal controls safeguarding assets and ensuring authorized transactions.
Ensure transactions are executed per authorization and business requirements; retain records per statutory requirements.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Segregate incompatible duties.
Run efficient transaction processing for goods delivery, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash disbursements.
Work with relevant functions to enforce controls over procurement, goods receipt, payroll, and petty cash.
Parts Standard Costing Maintenance & Financial Reporting




Coordinate with Shared Services for standard costing maintenance and monthly cost accounting close.
Review inventory accounting for absorption and provisions, aged inventory provisions, factory cost centre expenses, COPA analysis, and variance explanations.
Quantify impact of selling price vs. unit cost variations, compute machine and direct labour hourly rates, maintain activity types and prices in SAP.
Prepare annual budget for production cost centres and record stock count adjustments after reconciliation.
Production Cost & Profitability Analysis
Prepare manufacturing variances analysis (production, PPV, labour usage, price/rate, spend).
Facilitate management understanding and mitigation of production variances.
Track cost incurred before mass production for new product introductions.
Prepare financial outlook/forecast for COPA and production accounts with input from operations, sales, supply chain, and HR.
Governance & Organization Planning
Promote sound financial management culture, enforce compliance with internal controls and accurate reporting.
Qualifications
Professional integrity, honesty, and strict confidentiality.
Strong leadership and organizational management skills, ability to lead by example.
Hands‐on approach with effective delegation.
Experience in a manufacturing environment; exposure to manufacturing processes such as stamping, moulding, plating is an advantage.
Advanced Excel and ERP skills, preferably SAP.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Over 5–10 years of experience in similar roles.
