Spare Parts SpecialistAbout the RoleGeely Auto Mexico is looking for a Spare Parts Specialist to support the daily operations of our aftersales supply chain and dealer network.
This role will be responsible for spare parts order management, billing follow-up, system reconciliation, inventory coordination, catalog maintenance, KPI reporting, and dealer support.The ideal candidate combines strong operational execution, analytical skills, and stakeholder management capabilities, with experience working across logistics, warehousing, finance, suppliers, and dealership networks in the automotive industry.Key ResponsibilitiesSpare Parts Operations & Order ManagementMonitor spare parts orders from order placement through invoicing and fulfillment.Ensure timely and accurate billing of parts orders and direct shipments.Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, and invoices.Coordinate closely with Finance and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing.Dealer Credit & Payment ControlValidate advance payments for dealer orders placed under cash-in-advance terms.Verify payment application before releasing orders for fulfillment.Monitor dealer floor plan credit utilization and proactively communicate risks or account restrictions.Coordinate with Finance to resolve credit, payment, and account-related issues.Systems & Data ManagementMonitor data synchronization between SAP, WMS, and internal parts management systems.Investigate and resolve data discrepancies related to inventory, orders, and transactions.Coordinate with local and integral IT teams on system issues, enhancements, and process improvements.Maintain master data integrity across systems.Parts Catalog & Supplier CoordinationCreate and maintain part numbers, product classifications,
and pricing information.Ensure catalog accuracy and compliance with invoicing and tax requirements.Manage purchase orders for local suppliers and follow up on deliveries.Maintain updated supplier, warehouse, and vendor information.3PL & Inventory ManagementWork closely with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to reconcile inventory and operational data.Support physical inventory counts and variance analysis.Participate in warehouse transitions and operational improvement initiatives.Reporting & Continuous ImprovementDevelop and maintain KPI reports related to inventory, lead times, order fulfillment, and billing performance.Support automation and process improvement projects to increase operational efficiency.Prepare operational communications, dealer bulletins, and support materials for the dealer network.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in Spare Parts, Aftersales, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations within the automotive industry.Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Strong Excel skills and experience creating operational reports and dashboards.Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including dealers, suppliers, warehouses, finance teams, and external partners.Knowledge of dealership operations and aftersales processes.Experience with DMS or aftersales systems is a plus.Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.Key CompetenciesAnalytical ThinkingAttention to DetailProblem SolvingProcess ImprovementOperational ExcellenceProject CoordinationEffective CommunicationStakeholder ManagementTeam CollaborationCustomer Focus
