Senior Manufacturing EngineerResponsibilitiesSupports and/or provides technical and safety guidance or mentoring to colleagues, technicians, designers, drafters, model makers, and others.May serve as project leader.Meet with external customers and suppliers to exchange information and help with more difficult technical problems.Participate in project planning and may lead portions of large projects to include scheduling, supervising costs, resources, workforce load, etc.Integrate existing processes (through transfers from other Baxter sites) and develop and continuously improve mechanical device manufacturing processes.Design and implement production fixtures/tools and inspection equipment as needed.Plan and implement capacity (equipment, labor, space) and maintenance strategies, production performance, efficiency, downtime tracking and corrective actions.Execute activities related to the transfer of manufacturing to the new manufacturing site.Estimate cycle time, track and develop production routers.Implement engineering tools such as problem solving, statistics (DOE/ANOVA, etc.), PFMEA.Develop and maintain manufacturing process instructions (process sheets, MPS),
