**At Takeda's ICC we Unite in Diversity****The Opportunity**As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for transforming design and vision into working product and you will develop, customize, and enhance functionalities of diverse set of digital products.You will contribute to development of a cutting-edge platform that empowers our organization's digital capabilities.
**Responsibilities**- Leverage best practices, Object Oriented programming and programming language relevant frameworks.
- Builds systems of medium-to-high complexity with mínimal guidance and supervision.
- Ensure high performance for global users through performance tests and tuning.
- Collaborate with more senior team members to implement feedback on pull request reviews.
- Continuously collaborate with Product Owner to demo developed functionality and validate against specified requirements.
- Collaborate with agile team members to craft clear user stories and continuously deliver product increments.
- Estimate work based on user stories and functional requirements or wireframes.




- Contribute to Takeda's mission by leading the development and adoption of solutions that deliver business outcomes and drive innovation.
**Skills and Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems analysis or a related study.
- 3+ years relevant software development experience.
- Solid hands-on experience as a back-end engineer with following tech stack: Java, Python, Spring Boot is a plus.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions on AWS (serverless and other Platform As A Service modules of cloud platform) is a big advantage.
- Hands-on experience with R programming language is a plus.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
- Self-starter with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes.
- Solid communication skills, a team player with a 'winning as a team' attitude.
- Ability to continuously enhances own skills.
- Ability to write and speak in the English language.
