Position OverviewThe senior accountant for DTC Content is responsible for maintaining and accounting for Warner Bros.Discovery's Direct to Consumer content assets and amortization expenses.The role ensures these assets are properly recorded and reported in the financial statements, supporting informed financial decisions and regulatory compliance.ResponsibilitiesPrepare accruals and other manual journal entries and related supporting documents, including evidence of controls performed in SAP/PeopleSoft.Prepare supporting files to analyze the monthly activity of assigned accounts.Identify and highlight relevant P&L; variances between the current month and the YTD average; report those variances to the Accounting Manager.Prepare monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; assist the Accounting Manager and other team members to cover information requests for internal (SOX‐Internal Audit‐GBS Management) or external (Auditors, Tax, Legal, or Statutory) filings.Analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement,



and suggest changes to the Accounting Manager.Assist in special projects including system implementation of SAP S/4HANA and redesign of processes currently performed in PeopleSoft.Prepare and maintain accounting process documentation.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent.2 years of accounting/audit experience.Fluent in English.Experience working with all levels of management, including project managers.Experience preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations.Experience with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and variance analysis.PreferredMaster's degree and/or CPA.2+ years of content accounting or media experience.Previous knowledge and experience with ERP Systems (SAP or PeopleSoft).
