Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead and coach distributed Agile teams across nearshore and general delivery models. The successful candidate will enable high-performing teams, drive Agile maturity, and foster strong collaboration with product owners, stakeholders, and engineering leadership. This role requires excellent facilitation skills, deep Agile knowledge, and the ability to navigate cross-cultural and cross-time zone collaboration.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Serve as a servant-leader and Agile coach for multiple Scrum teams.
Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
Partner with Product Owners to maintain prioritized, business-aligned backlogs.
Proactively identify and remove impediments, escalating when needed.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize productivity, delivery predictability, and quality.
Promote collaboration, accountability, and transparency across distributed teams.
Support adoption of scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or equivalent) as required.
Track, analyze, and communicate key team performance metrics (velocity, throughput, burndown, cycle time).
Mentor junior Scrum Masters and Agile champions within nearshore delivery centers.
Act as a cultural and operational bridge between nearshore teams and global client stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
10+ years in the IT industry with 6+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).




Proven success working with distributed nearshore/offshore teams for US/European clients.
Ability to influence without authority and build trust with senior stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools (JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
Role-specific Requirements:
Scrum Master certifications (CSM, PSM II/III, SAFe SSM, ICP-ACC) preferred.
Background in software engineering, QA, or product management a plus.
Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, BFSI, telecom) highly valued.
Familiarity with DevOps practices beneficial.
