MezTal is looking for a
Marketing Data Analyst
to join our team in Guadalajara and support one of our U.S.-based clients. This role is essential for transforming raw marketing data into clear, accurate, and actionable insights that help drive better decisions.
If you enjoy working with marketing data, building dashboards, automating reports, and identifying trends that impact performance, this position will give you the opportunity to make a real impact. You'll collaborate closely with our client's marketing and creative teams to deliver high-quality reporting, reduce manual work through automation, and ensure consistent accuracy in data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, validate, and organize marketing data from multiple platforms (Google Ads, Meta, SEO, email, analytics, etc.).
Build, maintain, and automate recurring marketing reports and dashboards (monthly, quarterly).
Design reporting templates, implement automation workflows (Python scripts, API connectors, BI tools).
Analyze campaign performance and surface actionable insights (CTR, CAC, ROI, conversions, traffic trends).
Detect unusual patterns or anomalies in performance metrics and flag them for review.
Deliver clear, visually engaging reports and dashboards for internal and client-facing presentations.
Collaborate with U.S. client teams to ensure reporting aligns with business and marketing goals.
Document and continuously improve reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Tools You'll Work With
Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
Python, Pandas, SQL (for data automation and analysis).
BI tools such as DOMO, Power BI, or similar.
Marketing platforms: Google Analytics, Meta Ads, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc.
Google Slides / PowerPoint for visual reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics,



Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in a reporting, analytics, or data-related role (marketing reporting experience preferred).
Proven experience automating reporting workflows (Python, API integrations, BI tools).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
Basic knowledge of marketing performance metrics (CPM, CPC, CTR, ROAS, bounce rate, etc.).
Advanced English level (written and spoken), able to collaborate with U.S.-based teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or LinkedIn Ads.
Familiarity with API connectors and automation-focused reporting tools.
Interest in digital marketing, media strategy, or working in a fast-paced agency environment.
