The Staff Accountant will support the financial operations of a portfolio of senior living communities. This role requires hands-on experience in property-level accounting, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with systems like Yardi. The adecuado candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that supports multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage monthly and quarterly financial close for multiple senior living properties.
•Prepare journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reports.
•Reconcile resident billing, rent rolls, and security deposit accounts.
•Process property-related accounts payable and receivable transactions.
•Collaborate with community administrators and regional managers to support financial accuracy.
•Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes for each community.
•Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
•Ensure compliance with accounting standards, lease agreements, and internal controls.
•Use Yardi (or similar systems) for financial reporting and daily accounting operations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in property or multi-site accounting, ideally in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, or MRI is preferred.




Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
Advanced English (written and spoken) is required.
High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple properties.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms.
