We're hiring a detail-oriented and proactive
Staff Accountant
to join our accounting team supporting a growing U.S.-based property portfolio. This role is adecuado for someone with
3–6 years of accounting experience
, a strong command of
Excel
, and a focus on accuracy, service, and collaboration. Experience in
real estate or property management accounting
is highly desirable, and familiarity with systems like
QuickBooks, Yardi, or Sage
will set you apart.
This is a hands-on role where excellent communication and customer service skills are just as important as technical accounting knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Support full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
Maintain accurate financial records for multiple property entities.
Assist with AP/AR, expense tracking, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare standard financial reports and assist in variance analysis.
Ensure timely data entry and reconciliation in accounting systems (QuickBooks, Yardi, or Sage).
Collaborate with internal teams and respond to financial inquiries from stakeholders.
Assist in audit preparation and documentation gathering.
Deliver excellent customer service to both internal teams and external partners.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
3–6 years of accounting experience.
Strong proficiency in
Excel
(pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
Experience with
QuickBooks
,
Yardi
, or
Sage
(at least one).




Bilingual in English and Spanish – written and verbal fluency required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Customer-focused,
proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in
property management
or
real estate accounting
.
Experience working across multiple entities or locations.
Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and property-level accounting practices.
