We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of Queretaro.
Responsibilities:
Respond to questions from the shop and mechanical team when they encounter maintenance issues with their equipment.
Help maintain an optimal stock of spare parts and materials in the workshop.
Identify repairs that are covered under warranty and submit claims to the appropriate vendors or manufacturers as needed.
Locate the nearest suitable vendor for breakdowns or repair shops (searching the database and websites for the repair center) to ensure minimal wait time and quality repairs to reduce costs.
Communicate with dispatch and maintenance departments, relay maintenance information and scheduling for resolutions, and follow up on resolution timelines, making outbound calls to send the appropriate service to drivers/owner-operators.
Stay in contact with vendors during repairs to ensure specific requirements are met and coordinate payment methods with vendors.
Manage the workshop area, inventory, repair costs, and equipment downtime to ensure work orders are completed efficiently.
Review mechanic expense reports and submit them to the Maintenance department for approval.




Develop and evaluate supplier quality metrics to ensure efficient and targeted resource allocation within the team by identifying critical vendors, products, and processes.
Manage all work orders, ensuring that all charges are included, such as mechanic labor hours and parts used.
Perform quality inspections on equipment to ensure all government regulations and standards are met and that all required documentation is completed.
Advanced English skills is a must, both written and verbal
3 years of experience managing trucks and trailers spare parts purchases shop with mechanical knowledge preferred.
Experience in land transportation industry.
Strong computer skills, with intermediate abilities in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Comprehensive knowledge of Ministry regulations, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and shop management practices.
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
Experience in warehouse inventory process is an asset.
