The role
Simply.TV is all about creating the world's best and richest metadata for sports. With major sports tournaments, leagues, and events attracting millions of fans each year, we're looking for passionate
Sports Data Editors
to help us build, maintain, and improve our sports database — ensuring that our clients and their viewers get accurate, up-to-date, and engaging sports data worldwide.
This role is idóneo for someone who loves
sports, data, and precision
, and who takes pride in delivering high-quality information that enhances the viewing experience.
Tasks:




Research and create detailed data entries for sports events, tournaments, and leagues.
Spot and create new programs in the database where needed.
Conduct research and find all background information about Sports Events.
Ensure identical and duplicate programs are merged.
Double check your work and correct any outstanding inconsistencies.
Ensure that the data sets the customers receive are complete, on time, and twice error free.
Basic knowledge of major sports events from around the world (e.g., European football leagues, Tennis Grand Slams, NBA, Formula 1, NFL, Olympic Games, Tour de France).
University degree in a relevant area (e.g., Sports Management, Journalism, Business, or Data).
Exceptional written and spoken
English
skills.
