As a key member of the Sector Supply Chain & Purchasing team, the Purchasing Analyst helps to drive adoption of preferred programs, helps manage order guides and support Supply Chain Directors with the tools, data, and training needed to hit purchasing KPIs. The role blends analytics and program management during openings, transitions, and day to day operations. You'll assist with day-to-day order guide accuracy and exception handling, shepherd new vendor setups, track spend and compliance, especially related to openings/closings. The idóneo candidate is systems-savvy, has at least an elementary understanding of AI models, and excels at translating data into everyday relevance.
Key Responsibilities
Order guide — Ownership & Optimization
Troubleshoot issues (e.g., "item fell off order guide"), process order guide management, and manage mass add requests for large-scale changes.
Own exception/specific order guides and manage emerging market-specific needs where sustainability participation is limited.
Monitor order guides for product compliance, optimization opportunities, and implement changes in alignment with Sector Approved Product Lists.
Vendor Closing Liaison
Submit and track vendor closing notices and communications.
Market basket
Assist with collection of data and submission of market baskets.
New Business Openings & Onboarding
Define vendor needs using standardized questionnaires, assign vendors, and submit data in MyAdmin (CG Software).
Support purchasing readiness for new client openings (order guide additions)
Vendor Program Transitions
Track transition progress to capture value from shifts to new suppliers
Purchasing KPIs, Analytics & Insights




Analyze broadline spend trends; maintain spend trackers and VA tracking related to US order guide management; quantify financial impact.
Administrative & Recurring Deliverables
Update financial, vendor, and order guide reports to be utilized by Supply Chain Team
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years in purchasing, supply chain, procurement, or related program/operations role.
Proven ability to manage simultaneous initiatives with high attention to detail; strong analytical skills.
Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfort working in enterprise systems (e.g., MyResults, MyOrders) and dashboards.
Comfortable with structured, repeatable cadences (monthly dashboards, newsletters, file updates).
