Job Summary:
The Financial Planning & Analysis Sr. Analyst will take on a critical role in steering the company's financial strategy. Your responsibilities include conducting sophisticated financial analyses, developing comprehensive budgeting and forecasting models, and providing key insights for strategic decision making. You will also mentor junior analysts and collaborate with senior management to ensure financial plans are aligned with business objectives. This role demands a high level of expertise in financial modeling, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Forecasting
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision making
• Develop and maintain financial models to accurately forecast future performance
• Analyze key financial drivers and variances to budget and forecast
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis
Budgeting and Planning
• Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and long term financial plans
• Collaborate with business units to understand their financial needs and goals
• Prepare budget presentations and reports for senior management
• Monitor budget performance and make recommendations for cost saving measures
Financial Reporting
• Prepare and distribute financial reports to key stakeholders




• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports
• Analyze financial results and communicate key insights to management
• Create and maintain financial dashboards to track key performance metrics
Business Partnering
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business operations and identify areas for improvement
• Provide financial support and guidance to business units
• Partner with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies
• Proactively identify and communicate potential financial risks and opportunities
Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance department
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Continuously monitor and evaluate existing processes to identify areas for improvement
• Train and mentor junior analysts on best practices and processes
Ad Hoc Projects
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management
• Conduct research and analysis to support decision making on ad hoc projects
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management on ad hoc projects
Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Identify and mitigate financial risks through regular monitoring and analysis
• Assist with internal and external audits and compliance reviews
• Stay up to date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:
7+ years in cost accounting and budgeting roles in manufacturing or industrial sectors
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor or similar
Proven experience preparing reports for integral or corporate HQ
English (professional level); Spanish or Portuguese a plus (for LATAM roles)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data trends
Detail-oriented, proactive, excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Experience in multinational environments or shared services
Familiarity with SOX controls or internal audit processes
Advanced Excel, Power BI or reporting automation tools
Work 100% on site / El Marques, Qro
