Detailed Description of the Project
Project Objective
The intern will support the Primary Fuels Trading team by contributing to market analysis and planning activities that inform fuels sourcing decisions across petcoke, coal, and the interface with alternative fuels, within a global procurement context.
The role is designed to provide hands‐on exposure through participation in planning support, basic market and cost analysis, execution follow‐up, and structured research, allowing the intern to understand how market dynamics, analytical inputs, and operational considerations are integrated to support fuel sourcing strategy and procurement decisions for cement manufacturing.

Planning & Reporting Support:
Support fuels procurement decision making by maintaining planning data, reconciling plan vs actuals, and preparing standardized analyses
Market Outlook & Special Analysis Support:
Support sourcing and cost‐impact discussions by updating market data and running predefined analyses (fuel comparisons, indices, correlations, and transborder flows).
Contract Execution & Volume Monitoring Support:
Support visibility of fuel procurement execution by assisting in the monitoring of contracted versus delivered volumes, helping identify deviations and ensure stable fuel supply for cement operations.
Trade Monitor Updating:
Keep executed fuel shipments up to date in internal monitoring tools to ensure visibility of procurement execution and logistics flows.
Compliance Support:
Assist the team by gathering and organizing documentation required for legal, supplier, and customer compliance follow‐up.
Other Data & Process Support:
Maintain supporting databases (e.g., fuel quality) and keep internal instructions updated to improve day‐to‐day execution.
