Senior Integration Developer | Node.js | APIs | AI-Assisted Development
Hitss is seeking a Senior Integration Developer with strong experience in
API development, microservices, enterprise integrations, and AI-assisted software engineering.
Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
· Build and support enterprise integrations across multiple platforms and external systems.
· Develop event-driven integration solutions using modern integration patterns.
· Automate development and deployment processes through Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
· Leverage AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to accelerate software development, code generation, documentation, testing, and payload transformations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality integration solutions.
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in application development.
· Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
· Experience with a modern front-end framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
· Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs.
· Strong understanding of OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, authentication, and authorization.
· Experience with webhooks,



JSON transformation, pagination, and error handling.
· Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven integration patterns, including ordering, deduplication, retries, and idempotency.
· Experience integrating multiple external systems into unified data models.
· Hads-on experience with Azure DevOps, REST APIs, Service Hooks, and CI/CD pipelines.
· Experience with Git, automated testing, and integration testing.
· Advanced conversational English (required).
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience integrating with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ServiceNow, or Morpheus.
· Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, Azure Integration Services, or Boomi.
· Experience with contract testing and API documentation.
· Daily use of AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
