Master Scheduler Sr. Supervisor
This role is within Chamberlain Group's Operations and Supply Chain group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Oversee the production scheduling processes, develop and maintain the monthly master production schedule to meet inventory and customer service goals; coordinate deployment activities for assigned area to ensure supply balances by simulating scenarios; ensure the accuracy of master data within ERP system; oversee team KPIs and develop action plans for improvement areas, and (ii) Develop and maintain plant production scheduling models and plant capacity models to forecast needs and available capacity; Develop a time fence policy to control the amount of change that can occur within a predefined area of the planning horizon to help stabilize the MPS; communicate, elevate and develop plans over capacity constraints. Requires 5+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment, with 3+ years of production planning experience and a minimum of a bachelor's degree in relevant subject area.

Manage the planning process by utilizing ERP system; integrate production and materials planning with the business plan; organize and manage resources
Participate in the sales and operations planning (S&OP;) process developing the Supply plan; establish reporting to determine labor and productivity performance statistics by utilizing forward scheduling and backward scheduling; coordinate information with cross-functional teams
Determine the need for material and capacity to address expected demand, execute the resulting plans, and update planning and financial information to reflect the results; control and check errors, taking any corrective action so that deviations from standards are minimized and stated goals of the organization are achieved in a desired manner.
Establish S&OP; programs, define operating procedures, and establish cross-functional S&OP; planning team
Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels to execute all manufacturing schedules; determine available capacity before planned orders are released; resolve differences between workstation loads and available capacity; measure the utilization and efficiency of work stations

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
Motivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company's policies
Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications

Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant subject area
Experience:
5+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment, with 3+ years of production planning experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of production scheduling techniques
Working knowledge of material management techniques and computerized inventory control systems (MRP)
Working knowledge of complex planning and product lifecycle programs
Working knowledge of SAP
Other:
Intermediate English proficiency
