We are seeking a proactive Payroll Associate who delivers friendly, helpful service to clients while working independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for clients accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Prepare and deliver payroll reports as needed
• Resolve payroll issues and correct errors promptly
• Manage payroll tax reporting and payments
• Onboard new clients, including setting up accounts with payroll tax authorities and configuring employers in the payroll system
• Respond to client inquiries via phone and email regarding payroll matters
Skills and Qualifications:
• 1–3 years experience in full-service payroll (must know how to process payroll)
• English proficiency at B2+/C1 level, clear communication with no strong accent
• Knowledge of current US payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements




• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple payrolls simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; client-focused and service-oriented
• Self-motivated, organized, able to work independently under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with IRIS Payroll software is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a web-based work environment
• Professional appearance and manner
• Familiarity with payroll tax authorities and onboarding processes
• Strong time management and planning abilities
