Through innovation, collaboration, and customer focus, Micron is a general leader in memory and storage solutions, delivering cuttingu****edge technologies across DRAM, LPDRAM, Graphics DRAM, NAND, HBM, SSDs, and more.nnThe Signal Integrity Research and Development (SI Ru****D) team supports Micronu****s current and future product development by delivering endu****tou****end system analysis, including IC packages, PCBs, and measurements to ensure optimal Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) performance.nnAs a Principal Signal and Power Integrity Engineer, this role focuses on integrated circuit package design and provides technical leadership across SI/PI analysis, methodology development, and nextu****generation memory innovation.nnResponsibilitiesnn * Lead the design and analysis of highu****speed memory interfaces and power distribution networks (PDN).n * Drive SI/PI development across a broad range of Micron products to ensure electrical performance through modeling, simulation, analysis, and measurement correlation.n * Own and execute endu****tou****end SI/PI analysis processes, including die, package, and systemu****level modeling and evaluation.n * Represent the SI Ru****D organization in crossu****functional technical forums, collaborating with package design, silicon design, system design, product engineering, and marketing teams.n * Drive and contribute to SI/PI aspects of future industry standards such as JEDEC, ONFI, and IBIS.n * Develop and refine SI/PI methodologies, analysis flows,



and best practices to support current and future technologies.n * Lead pathu****finding and innovation activities for I/O and channel architectures enabling higher speeds and densities.n * Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior engineers while supporting external customers as needed.nnnnMinimum Qualificationsnn * PhD or MSEE with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.n * Strong theoretical and practical background in Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and EMI, including modeling, simulation, and analysis.n * Deep expertise in SI/PI fundamentals impacting I/O circuit signaling performance, PMIC behavior, current workloads, and PI optimization.n * Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, RF concepts, and analog design principles.n * Experience using electromagnetic field solvers and SI/PI simulation tools such as HFSS, Q3D, SIWAVE, HSPICE, ADS, or equivalent.n * Proven understanding of timing budgets, jitter analysis, and highu****speed interface behavior.n * Handsu****on experience with PCB layout and/or electrical package design techniques.n * Experience in the design and analysis of highu****speed singleu****ended and differential buses.nnnnPreferred Qualificationsnn * Familiarity with lab measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDRs, and Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).n * Experience with statistical and peak distortion analysis tools (e.g., JMP or equivalent).n * Prior experience in the memory industry.n * Demonstrated leadership skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.n * Exposure to or understanding of AI/ML concepts.nnnnSignal Integrity Engineer 4 - Signal Integrity Engineering MTSnnRelocation Level:
