We are currently looking for a
Buyer 1 PPM
to join our team in
Toluca, México
. This role is critical in leading purchasing projects, ensuring cost and time efficiency, and supporting cross-functional collaboration aligned with the Nissan Way.
A Day in the Life:
Lead assigned purchasing projects, achieving key performance indicators in cost and time management.
Manage quotation and nomination processes for new sourcing programs, supporting purchasing KPIs (NPV, TdC, etc.).
Drive strict cost management of programs, including engine cost, cost reduction opportunities, and localization ratios.
Act as the purchasing window person with cross-functional teams (VPM, CMPP, SCM, Finance, Manufacturing) during development and mass production stages.
Required:
Strong command of English (TOEIC score above 700).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software package (100%).
Expertise in database creation and management (100%).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams with an analytic, results-focused approach.
Desired:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Knowledge of purchasing processes.
Continuous improvement mindset aligned with Nissan Way (Cross-Functional & Cross-Cultural, Transparent, Learner, Frugal, Competitive).
Strong planning and project management skills with accuracy in data management.
Experience in cost reduction initiatives and localization strategies.
