Country Human Resources Manager (m/f/d)

Your new Role and Responsibilities

- Support the sustainable growth strategy for SEBN MX as Business partner with a demonstrated effective collaboration and results orientation.
- Lead and coordinate the HR Department of SEBN MX at the national level
- Ensure communication and alignment with GM SEBN MX and HQ
- Execute the strategic HR plan and its internal policies
- Supervise and guarantee the correct execution of the administrative activities of the department
- Collaborate with other departments to solve problems, proposals for improvement etc.
- Work towards the achievement of the department’s objectives
- Promote SEBN leadership, influence and culture (Sumitomo Spirit, SWS Way, corporate values…)
- Manage the HR budget, review and update the salary structure and compensation framework
- Manage HR indicators (KPIs) and propose action plans for the improvement of processes and results, coordinate HR reports
- Coordinate and align the international mobility processes with GMO
- Ensuring compliance with current labor and internal regulations as well as corporate procedures
- Labor Relations: act as an intermediary between GM and employees, negotiate and communicate agreements with the Legal Representation of Employees (RLPT)
- Manage relations with external stakeholders and organizations, manage and resolve labor conflicts
- Lead talent attraction and retention strategies, including succession plans
- Coordinate and supervise training and development plans
- Encourage the motivation, commitment and team cohesion of the HR area
- Guarantee the attention, follow-up and accompaniment of employees
- Manage internal and external communication in HR matters
- Monitor data protection compliance within the HR area,

Your Profile

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (Labour Relations, Economics, LADE, Law, etc.), and Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management
- Minimum 20 years working experience in the HR department in an industrial production plant (automotive as a plus)
- Minimum 10 years experience as HR Manager
- Strong experience working with cross-functional international teams in a general setting
- Consolidated knowledge of Mexican labour legislation (mandatory)
- Fluent in Spanish, very good English Skills (minimum B2) and other languages as a plus
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate business needs and translate them into effective HR solutions
- Solid background in leading and managing change processes and projects
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, develop and empower teams
- Solid experience with change processes and a proven ability to drive organizational development and transformation to the next level
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels, including executive management
- Strong team orientation combined with the ability to drive alignment and cohesion in diverse environments
- MS Office 365 / SAP (valuable)
- Availability to travel
