Positions: Assistant Waiter | Waiter

Position Overview

We are recruiting Food & Beverage service professionals for luxury and ultra-luxury cruise lines, delivering high-end dining experiences in international environments.

These roles are part of structured restaurant operations, focused on guest satisfaction, precision service, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Assistant Waiter

- Support Waiters during service operations
- Set up and maintain tables, stations, and service areas
- Deliver food and beverages to guests
- Ensure cleanliness and proper table presentation
- Refill water, bread, and assist with guest needs
- Follow instructions from senior service staff

Waiter

- Provide full table service according to company standards
- Take orders and deliver food and beverages professionally
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and attention to detail
- Maintain complete knowledge of menus, ingredients, and service flow
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar for smooth service execution
- Handle guest requests, preferences, and special requirements

Requirements

Experience

Assistant Waiter

- Minimum 1 year in restaurants, hotels, or service environments

Waiter

- Minimum 2–3 years experience
- Experience in fine dining or upscale service preferred

Ship Experience

- Assistant Waiter: Not required
- Waiter: required

Skills

- Strong service knowledge and guest interaction
- Understanding of service sequence and standards
- Ability to work in fast-paced, structured environments
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and presentation

Language

- English:
- Assistant Waiter B1 minimum
- Waiter B2 preferred

Working Conditions

- 10–11 hours per day
- 7 days per week
- High-demand, guest-facing environment

Ship Experience

- Assistant Waiter: Not required
- Waiter: Preferred / may be required depending on brand

Skills

- Strong customer service and guest interaction
- Knowledge of service sequence and basic F&B; operations
- Ability to work in fast-paced, structured environments
- Attention to detail and presentation
- Teamwork and communication skills

Language

- Assistant Waiter: English B1 minimum
- Waiter: English B2 preferred

General Requirements

- CV in English (Harvard format), updated with no gaps
- Minimum 2 verifiable reference letters
- Valid passport
- Availability to work:
- 10–11 hours per day
- 7 days per week
- High level of discipline, grooming, and professionalism

Commitment

- Ability to complete onboarding documentation within 2–4 months maximum
- Willingness to cover documentation costs (medical, visa, certifications if applicable)
