In SSOE Group Mexico we are looking for a Senior Associate in ElectricalEngineering projects with more than 8 years of direct experience in the design of power, lighting, and grounding systems for commercial facilities such as Hospitals, Malls, Universities, Airports, Retail, Corporate Buildings, industrial warehouses or mixed-use buildings..

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing.

- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale projects, including power distribution (medium and low voltage), lighting, fire alarm, data/communications, and grounding systems.
- Manage and execute design deliverables using Revit / BIM platforms, applying Corporate standards for model quality and coordination.
- Perform and review load calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, and lighting analysis using industry software.
- Ensure electrical designs align with all applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IES, local jurisdictional requirements).
- Serve as discipline lead on complex projectsplanning tasks, overseeing junior engineers/designers, and reviewing design documentation for accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to deliver coordinated, efficient building designs.
- Participate in client engagement: define project scope, present design progress, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.




- Develop or review technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Mentor emerging designers and engineers, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Support project management and business development activities as needed.

What You Will Bring:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, electromechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering or any other related discipline.
- Título and Cédula Competente are a mandatory requirement
- 8 to 10 years (eight to ten) of relevant electrical design experience within the AEC industry, with a focus on large-scale projects within industrial or commercial facilities such as Hotels, Malls, Schools, vertical buildings, corporate buildings, airports, mixed-use buildings
- Demonstrated expertise in power distribution, lighting, grounding, and madium and low-voltage systems design.
- Proficiency Revit, AutoCAD, or related BIM coordination tools.
- Familiarity with industry software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, Easy Power, etc.
- Understanding of NEC, NFPA, IES, and applicable energy codes.
- Conversational English level is a must requirement (Will report directly to US)
