Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transportation Planner to manage and optimize truck planning operations at our Saltillo location. The idóneo candidate will have strong experience in load planning, route optimization, and working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS). This role requires excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and assign loads to drivers while ensuring optimal utilization of fleet capacity
- Develop efficient routes based on delivery timelines, distance, and cost considerations
- Monitor daily operations and adjust plans in real-time to handle delays or changes
- Communicate clearly with drivers regarding dispatch instructions, updates, and schedules
- Coordinate closely with dispatch, customer service, and operations teams
- Use TMS software to manage loads, track shipments, and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies,



and legal requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce empty miles, and increase productivity
- Handle driver queries, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in truck planning, dispatching, or logistics operations
- Strong working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with drivers
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good understanding of routing, scheduling, and load optimization

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in cross-border or North American transportation (Mexico/US/Canada)
- Familiarity with fleet operations and trucking regulations
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are an asset
- Experience with software such as Fleet Manager, McLeod, or similar platforms
