About the role: We are seeking an AI Agent Engineer to design, build, and deploy autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents that can plan, reason, and take actions across tools and systems. You will work at the intersection of LLMs, tool orchestration, and software engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and build multi-step AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and tool use.

● Integrate agents with external APIs, databases, and internal tools.

● Develop and refine agent memory, context management, and orchestration logic.

● Implement guardrails, evaluation loops, and fallback strategies for agent reliability.

● Collaborate with product teams to translate workflows into agent capabilities.

● Monitor and debug agent behavior in production environments.

Qualifications:





● 2+ years of software engineering experience; 1+ year building with LLMs or agent

frameworks.

● Advanced English proficiency, both spoken and written, is required.

● Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.

● Strong Python programming skills.

● Understanding of prompt engineering and tool-calling patterns.

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Soft Skills:

● Curious, experimental mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving field.

● Clear technical communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● Attention to detail when it comes to agent safety and reliability.

Technical Skills:

● Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini).

● Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma).

● Knowledge of function calling, tool use, and structured outputs.

● Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Schedule:

● Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

● Onsite position in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
