Role Overview: At Job Duck, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to support a dynamic legal team handling personal injury cases. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring claims are opened efficiently, documentation is accurate, and communication flows seamlessly with clients and medical providers. Your daily work will directly contribute to case progress and client satisfaction by handling critical administrative and legal support tasks. Schedule

Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST (USA)

Your Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:

- Drafting and sending legal correspondence and letters
- Requesting and following up on medical records from providers
- Opening and managing new claims efficiently and accurately




- Handling inbound and outbound calls as part of daily operations
- Supporting attorneys and legal staff with administrative tasks

What We're Looking For:

- Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a legal administrative role
- Familiarity with US-based law, legal document preparation, court procedures, and e-filing systems
- Strong organizational and priority-setting skills with attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and adherence to ethical standards
- Reliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset, stable internet min. 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
- Quiet, distraction-free remote work environment
