Name of the Position: Sr Scheduler
Location/Modality: México (Office-Based) with travel to project sites in the United States as required.

About the role: The Senior Scheduler is responsible for leading all project scheduling activities throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role develops and maintains project schedules, monitors progress, analyzes schedule performance, identifies project risks, and recommends recovery plans to ensure successful project delivery. The Senior Scheduler also serves as a technical resource for junior schedulers while working closely with project management teams to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project baseline schedules.
- Prepare, update, and manage resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules.
- Monitor project progress and schedule performance.
- Develop critical path schedules and logic networks.
- Perform schedule variance analysis and forecasting.
- Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Develop recovery plans for delayed activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly scheduling reports.
- Analyze subcontractor and self-performed work progress.
- Perform Time Impact Analysis and schedule delay assessments.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Mentor and support Schedulers and Junior Schedulers.
- Assist in developing scheduling standards and company procedures.
- Travel to project sites to participate in schedule review meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management,
or a related field.
- 10–15 years of scheduling experience in construction or industrial projects.
- Extensive experience using Primavera P6.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- PMI or AACE certification is preferred.

- Primavera Risk Analysis or Acumen 360 (preferred).
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Procore or Unifier.
- Construction planning and scheduling.
- Cost loading and resource management.
Must have:
- Previous experience supporting construction projects (industrial, commercial, energy, infrastructure, EPC or similar).
- Construction industry background is required.
- Candidates with only finance or accounting backgrounds are not suitable for this position.
- Experience working alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and Field Operations teams.
- Ability to interpret construction documentation, schedules, budgets, and project reporting.
- Availability to travel within the United States.
- Ability to work from project sites and company offices as required.
Schedule:
- This position follows active construction project schedules.
- The anticipated work schedule is Monday through Friday; however, working hours may be extended depending on project requirements.
- Saturday work may be required during critical phases of the project.
- When not assigned to a project site, employees will work from one of the company's offices.
- The employee will be based in Mexico and will be able to work from offices near active construction projects when required.
