JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Material handler Department: Materials 2200

Reports To: Materials Supervisor Current as of: December 22 SG: HR TBD

Job Purpose: Ensure the reception and supply of materials to lines, store the product giving it the correct arrangement. Load and unload product and components, through the correct operation of the equipment, always complying with the established safety regulations.

Scope/Dimensions: Unloading and arrangement of product and components

Supervisory: Materials Supervisor

Essential Functions:

- Warehouse management, quantity verification and visual inspection of the product, arrangement and routing of materials in the warehouse and share source.
- Delivery of materials to the production line.
- Verification of labeling carts, that they are always in optimal operating conditions, completing the check list at the beginning of the shift.
- Verify the storage conditions of components (well-stowed material, without broken pallets), maintain tidy and full warehouse.
- Verification of share source for the assortment of missing materials.
- Preparation of harness and handle cars for line jobs, ensuring the correct material for each job, as well as its correct labeling and quantity.
- Correct use of transactions in the PLEX system, to ensure inventory reliability.
- Respect the LAY OUT established in the plant.
- Rotation of materials respecting FIFO.
- Through the scanner make the correct movements to the designated locations in the warehouse and share source.




- Deliver the required product to the share source area, verifying the correct arrangement and location.
- Cleaning and arrangement in warehouse
- Maintain order and cleanliness during the shift.

Secondary Functions:

- Prepares other reports as necessary.
- Performs other duties as necessary.

Specialized Training, Skills, Abilities, Experience:

- 1-year of experience in material warehouse.
- Management of computer equipment.
- organizational and time management skills.
- PLEX experience preferred not needed

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

- Shifts Rotations
- Factory environment with noise from the manufacturing environment. Exposure to moving equipment, parts and electrical shock. Possible serious injury due to carelessness around equipment.
- May lift, carry or move objects – up to 50 pounds.
