Project Manager – Banking & Cards & Payments

Location: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, or Querétaro (Hybrid preferred / Remote considered)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology projects within the Banking, Core Banking, and Cards & Payments domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing complex software delivery projects from initiation through go-live, working closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning through implementation and production go-live.
- Develop and execute project plans, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
- Build strong relationships with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage project governance, escalations, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Drive project delivery using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality deliverables.
- Support strategic initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Ensure project documentation and deliverables are completed according to organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager leading technology projects.
- Proven experience delivering projects within the Banking, Core Banking, or Cards & Payments industry.




- Strong knowledge of end-to-end project management methodologies.
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Advanced Spanish and intermediate (or higher) English.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Core Banking platforms.
- Experience with FIS Systematics or similar banking solutions.
- Consulting or digital transformation experience within financial services.
- PMI, Scrum Master, Agile, or similar project management certifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00 per month
