Remote Project Manager/Project Coordinator

Allied Roofing & Construction is a 30+ year exterior construction company serving residential and commercial clients across Northern New Jersey. Our primary focus is roofing, with siding and windows as additional services. We are looking for a highly organized remote team member who can support production, improve communication, and help keep projects moving smoothly from sale to completion.

We are hiring a Remote Project Manager/Project Coordinator to support our production team with scheduling, project updates, documentation, client communication, and administrative coordination. This role is idóneo for someone with strong English communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience supporting construction, roofing, home improvement, or service-based operations. Candidates based in the Philippines are welcome to apply, and we are especially interested in expanding our search into South America for candidates who are fluent in English and Spanish and can work effectively with our U.S.-based team and customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the main office point of contact for clients during the production process
- Contact clients within 24-48 hours of sale to schedule site assessments and discuss potential start dates
- Notify clients of install dates, material deliveries, container delivery, and other project logistics
- Maintain and update the production schedule at least 2 weeks out and the repair schedule at least 5 days out
- Coordinate project logistics, including subcontractors, repair teams, materials, carting, toilets, rentals, permits, and other job needs
- Enter, update,



and maintain accurate job stages, statuses, notes, and project information in the CRM
- Review project details, measurements, photos, estimates, and materials to help reduce errors before production begins
- Assist with material order accuracy, local availability, delivery coordination, and return tracking
- Follow up on missing information, pending tasks, reminders, and project deadlines
- Communicate with customers, internal team members, crews, suppliers, and equipment contacts by phone, email, and text
- Respond to client inquiries promptly, especially during active installation days
- Help ensure projects are completed efficiently, on budget, and within scope
- Send satisfaction surveys after completion and support review collection
- Help file warranty documentation after final payment collection
- Identify communication gaps, process issues, or delays and escalate them quickly

Qualifications

- Previous remote project coordination, project management, construction administration, or operations support experience preferred
- Roofing, construction, home improvement, or field service experience is a strong plus
- Excellent written and verbal English communication required
- English and Spanish fluency strongly preferred, especially for South America-based candidates
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable communicating with customers and internal team members




- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines at once
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn cloud-based project management software
- Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup required
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Eastern Time.
- Problem-solver with a high level of accountability and follow-through

Pay and Benefits

- Independent Contractor (freelance contract; not an employee position)
- Pay: $10-$15.00 per hour, based on experience, communication skills, and overall fit
