Product Engineering Intern

Academic Requirements

- Active student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Currently enrolled in the final semesters of the degree program, preferably sixth semester or above.
- Availability to work the morning shift.

Technical Requirements

- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical blueprints.
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
- Intermediate English proficiency, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation and communicate effectively in a professional work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies (5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, PDCA).
- Basic understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagram, and 5 Whys.
- Academic project experience related to product design or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Support engineering changes, including updating production drawings.
- Assist with product release to production.
- Perform product inspections and testing.
- Provide technical support to the Production department on product-related issues.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate activities with the Quality and Production departments.
- Provide support to the Quality department as needed.
