OVERVIEW:

Working as a full-time Supply Chain Specialist, you must have a strong interest in negotiations and enjoy working in a fast-paced challenging environment. This level position will involve servicing branches in Mexico Regions and DC initiatives​. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and problem-solver that gets energized by solving complex business challenges and continuous learning.

RESPONSABILITIES:

- Build and maintain business relationships with Suppliers to create a competitive advantage on price and service for the company.
- Act as a business enabler that creates plans and guides the business and the suppliers to sales growth.
- Work directly with Suppliers to insure service for Sales teams​.
- Provide prompt response to sales branch requests and customer service inquiries.​
- Develop new suppliers and growth existing ones for the categories under management.​
- Negotiate terms & conditions with Suppliers.
- Execute price negotiations, price updates and create a savings tracker.​
- Develop local suppliers for local sourcing (substitute importations).​
- Onboarding suppliers to execute Special price agreements and special sales and growth programs. ​
- Support on import duties projects​.
- Coordinate vendor participation for branch sales support networking​

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

- Valid Visa and Passport​
- Ability to speak English fluently. (C1)
- Relationship focused partner in collaborative relationships with Vendors, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree, in business/international trade, engineering, or related field
- Previous experience in supplier development, purchasing, or category management.
