Position Summary
The Accounting Assistant supports daily financial operations by handling invoicing, reconciliations, and purchase order tracking. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, ensuring data integrity, and supporting internal processes related to billing and financial organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Perform account and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with preparation and tracking of purchase orders
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Review financial data for discrepancies and report issues as needed
- Enter and update financial information in internal systems with high accuracy
- Support internal teams with billing-related inquiries and documentation
- Assist in tracking expenses and maintaining financial logs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal procedures
- Maintain organization of digital files and financial documentation
- Support basic reporting related to financial activity and transactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting, billing, or administrative roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of invoicing and reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
