Detailed Description of the Project
Project Objective
Collaborate in the development of projects, carrying out tasks and activities in the Global laboratory.
Challenges for the Students
- Working in a cement laboratory environment (manual operations, extended periods on your feet), as well as office work to prepare reports and presentations.
- Performing chemical and physical analyses
Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out
- Carrying out research on current technology trends through online search tools, databases, etc.
- Preparing technology-watch/monitoring reports.
- Conducting analysis and testing of samples in the cement laboratory.
- Supporting equipment maintenance, calibration, and verification plan activities
Specific Requirements / Qualifications
- Ability to synthesize and organize data, and prepare presentations.
- Laboratory experience: chemical analysis activities and physical tests involving physical effort (max. load 20–25 kg).
- Attention to detail: chemical analysis activities are sensitive to variations.
- Independence: able to learn and carry out chemical and physical laboratory tests on their own, without supervision.
- Ability to act responsibly and in accordance with CEMEX Health & Safety guidelines.
- Computer skills: MS Office, digital design tools.
