Required Technical Skills

Mandatory

- Strong experience with Progress OpenEdge Database.
- Development experience in:
- Progress Character (Character Interface)
- Progress Client/Server
- Progress WebSpeed

- Experience working with Control-M scheduling and batch processes.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience using PuTTY and remote server administration tools.
- Experience developing and maintaining Shell Scripts.
- Knowledge of file transfer mechanisms:

- SFTP
- FTP
- SCP
- Command-line file transfers

- Database query and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience supporting mission-critical business applications.

Preferred

- Development experience with Java.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services environments.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and Production Support practices.

Required Experience

- 3+ years of experience in Progress/OpenEdge development and support.




- Experience supporting enterprise applications in Production environments.
- Experience working in Linux-based environments.
- Experience with batch scheduling and automation tools.
- Experience investigating and resolving application incidents.
