What your background should look like

Education and Experience Requirements
• BS degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial or related engineering• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required

- +5 years of experience as ME.
- Knowledge of TEOA, SPC, Six Sigma and other improvement techniques is preffered
- Working under pressure
- Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering experience within a manufacturing plant is preferred
- Creativity to explore new ideas and new technologies to product quality product in a cost-effective manner is essential.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities

- Continuous improvement efforts and drive production efficiency initiatives
- Support varied manufacturing projects,



including process improvements and cost reduction activities
- Support and practice Lean / TEOA initiatives
- Plan equipment layout, workflow, and accident prevention measures to maximize efficiency and maintain safe utilization of plant facilities
- Validate original cost estimates to presente costs for launched programs
- Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements and improvements
- Maintain records and systems for coordinating manufacturing operations
- Design both simple and complex tools, gages, and fixtures to support production
- Initiate root cause analysis and perform mistake proofing.
- Effectively support the production floor as needed.
- Successfully train operators in proper methods and usage of tooling, fixtures and machines.
- Perform time studies, line balance and eliminate non-value added operations
