Regional Business Manager Mexico

A premium European sustainable sneaker brand is looking for aRegional Business Manager to lead its growth and commercial development in Mexico. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced fashion, footwear, or lifestyle executive who can expand the brands retail and wholesale presence, strengthen its market positioning, and build high-value commercial partnerships.

The Role

You will lead the brands business operations in Mexico, This role will report to the CEO, North America and work alongside the North America Leadership Team (Communications, Retail, Wholesale, Operations, and HR).

Your responsibilities will include:

- Defining and executing the commercial strategy for Mexico.
- Growing wholesale and retail channels.
- Developing relationships with key distributors, retailers, and strategic partners.
- Identifying new business opportunities and market trends.
- Managing sales performance, profitability, budgets, and P&L.;
- Supporting retail expansion, store openings, recruitment, and team development.
- Strengthening brand awareness and cultural relevance in the Mexican market.
- Ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and efficient distribution.
- Leading and developing a high-performing local team.
- Representing the company as a brand ambassador in Mexico.

Idóneo Background

- 68+ years of experience in a commercial, country management, or regional leadership position.
- Proven experience managing multi-channel retail and wholesale operations.




- Demonstrated success growing an international or premium consumer brand.
- Experience managing sales, financial performance, budgets, and P&L.;
- Strong relationships within the Mexican retail, department store, fashion, or footwear ecosystem.
- Strategic, entrepreneurial, analytical, and highly execution-oriented.
- Advanced computer skills required in Excel, Power Point, SAP, etc.
- Bachelors degree in business management, merchandising or similar field required.
- Fluent in English & Spanish is required. French speaker a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 30-40% of the time domestically and internationally.

Work Schedule and Arrangement

- Monday through Friday.
- 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- 30-minute lunch break.
- Hybrid work arrangement once a showroom or shared workspace has been established.
- Occasional Sunday travel may be required for international trips to Paris or New York.
