Prestigious Private School in Guadalajara is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible English teacher who enjoys working with teenagers and young adults.

We are seeking someone who wants to do more than teach grammar and vocabulary: a person who can encourage students to communicate, gain confidence, expand their knowledge and discover new possibilities through English.

Previous teaching experience is not required. University students in their final semesters, graduates and young professionals may apply. This is an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience, receive guidance and develop professional teaching skills.

Our classes have small groups, allowing teachers to know their students, provide individual support and create a dynamic learning environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Teach English to Secondary and High School students.
- Plan clear, engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
- Encourage students to speak and use English during class.
- Develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a respectful, positive and participative classroom environment.
- Support students who need additional help.
- Complete lesson plans, assessments and academic records.
- Participate in training sessions, academic meetings and school activities.

DESIRED PROFILE

- University student in the final semesters, graduate or recent graduate in English Language Teaching, Languages, Education,



Communication, International Business or a related field.
- Demonstrable B2, C1 or higher English proficiency.
- Clear pronunciation and effective oral communication.
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with teenagers and young adults.
- Interest in sharing knowledge, mentoring students and supporting their personal growth.
- Patience, creativity and a positive attitude.
- Responsibility, punctuality and willingness to learn.
- Ability to establish respectful and appropriate boundaries with students.
- Affinity with values-based and student-centered education.

Teaching certifications such as TKT, TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, CENNI or similar credentials are welcome but not necessarily required, subject to the school’s regulatory documentation requirements.
