Join a high-impact payments engineering team working on a transformative digital payments initiative. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll design and develop core APIs for Click to Pay, implement next-generation authentication services, and ensure the security and scalability of enterprise payment solutions.

Who You Are

- 5+ years building backend services at enterprise scale; 3+ years focused on fintech or payments
- Deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot) or .NET for REST API development
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and enterprise integration patterns
- Strong SQL and relational database design skills
- Required: Hands-on experience with Click to Pay (SRC), Passkeys-based authentication, and card tokenization
- English C1+ (frequent collaboration with international teams)
- Based in or willing to work fully remote

Core Responsibilities

- Design and build APIs for Click to Pay and digital payment flows
- Implement secure backend authentication services using Passkeys
- Integrate internal systems with Mastercard payment solutions
- Own code quality, performance, and PCI DSS compliance




- Collaborate across Architecture, Security, Product, and Frontend teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement

Nice to Have

- Credential-on-File (CoF), 3DS2, or tokenization experience
- Familiarity with ISO 8583, Mastercard MDES, or PCI DSS standards
- Background with payment issuers, acquirers, or processors
