Role description

We are seeking a versatile, highly strategic Senior DevOps / Systems Infrastructure Engineer to lead two major migration initiatives and serve as a technical advisor. This is a fractional, project-based engagement that will transition into an ongoing, fractional DevOps on-call monitoring service once the primary migrations are complete.

The adecuado candidate possesses a deep dual background: elite-level expertise in the Microsoft identity and endpoint management ecosystem (Intune/Entra ID), combined with a strong understanding of web application infrastructure migrations (AWS to WordPress VIP). You will not just execute tasks; you will act as a consultative peer, bouncing architectural plans, incorporating executive feedback, and ensuring high-availability operations.

What you'll do

- Propose 2 or 3 distinct structural paths for infrastructure challenges, thoroughly exploring and presenting the pros and cons of each.

- Collaborate closely with leadership with an egoless consulting mindset, gracefully taking feedback and pivoting technical directions.

- Design, architect, and execute an end-to-end Microsoft Intune migration to safely move corporate devices from legacy systems.





- Act as the primary technical architect to execute and "bump" the web footprint away from AWS to WordPress VIP.

- Oversee and maintain complex identity configurations within a Hybrid Azure AD / Entra ID environment where on-premise AD remains the source of truth.

- Transition from heavy migration architecture tasks to a lighter, fractional capacity to provide ongoing support and monitoring for the platform once the implementation phase is complete.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, clean infrastructure design, and continuous operational improvement.

What we're looking for

- Minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture.

- Strong background in leading end-to-end Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) migrations and device enrollment strategies.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft identity services, including Active Directory, Group Policies, and Hybrid Entra ID (Azure AD) sync configurations.

- Strong background and hands-on experience in managing and migrating workloads away from AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, DNS).

- Practical experience with enterprise-grade WordPress hosting environments, managed platforms, or WordPress VIP migrations.

- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for infrastructure automation and migration tasks.





- Familiarity with building and maintaining observability stacks (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix) for ongoing platform monitoring.

- Comfortability with a fractional/contract model that scales down to a lighter, on-call support rotation after the core migrations are finalized.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and client-facing communication abilities.

- Very good communication skills in English for seamless stakeholder collaboration.
