Opportunity

ChartRequest is seeking a Product Manager, Data to own the data and analytics backbone of our product organization — turning usage data, adoption metrics, and client-facing reporting into a clear roadmap. This is a manager-level role: you'll lead a small team of data analysts/business analysts, partner closely with Engineering and Data on instrumentation, and be the person Sergio Bustamante (Head of Product) and the broader leadership team turn to when a decision needs a number, not a hunch.

You'll also own the requestor- and provider-facing dashboards and reporting products (e.g., RecordGateway, enterprise dashboards) that are central to our 2026 push to grow automation from ~25% toward 80% and drive cost per request from $38 toward $17.





Key Responsibilities

Data Product Strategy & Roadmap

- Own the roadmap for ChartRequest's internal and client-facing data products — Product/Development KPI dashboards, enterprise reporting (RecordGateway, RequestorAPI), and automation-tracking tools.
- Translate the 2026 strategic initiatives (automation 25%→ 80%, cost/request $38→$17) into measurable product requirements and a prioritized backlog.
- Build the business case and financial models for data-product investments — every recommendation ties to a number, not an anecdote.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

- Define and maintain the core Product KPIs (adoption, usage, release impact, cost/request, automation %) and the dashboards that report them, across Jira, HubSpot, and internal systems.
- Lead root-cause analysis on off-track metrics per our IDS discipline, and turn findings into owned Solves.
- Partner with Engineering/Data on instrumentation so every new feature ships with the tracking needed to measure it.

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

- Manage and develop a small team of Data Analysts/Business Analysts — hire, coach, and hold the team accountable to SMART Rocks.
- Represent Product/Data in weekly L10 meetings and Scorecard review; escalate compliance or data-quality gates per our decision framework.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and IT Operations to ensure reporting serves real stakeholder decisions, not vanity metrics.

Stakeholder & Customer Enablement

- Own client-facing reporting/dashboard experiences (e.g., RecordGateway, enterprise dashboards) end to end — from requirements through QA to release.
- Support enterprise deals and QBRs with de-identified, data-backed proof points (TAT vs. the 5-day guarantee, automation %, NRR).




- Serve as the internal voice of data — translating usage and adoption signals into product decisions the whole company can act on.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years in product management, with demonstrated ownership of data, analytics, or reporting products.
- Prior people-management experience — has hired, coached, and held a team accountable to binary, measurable outcomes.
- Strong SQL and hands-on experience with BI/dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Experience building financial/ROI models to justify product investment.
- Comfortable working in Jira and HubSpot (or equivalent PM/CRM systems); Figma familiarity a plus.
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate data into a clear recommendation for both engineers and executives.
- Experience in a HIPAA-regulated or compliance-heavy environment preferred, not required.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per month
