Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and success of the accounts payable function in the accounting department. The key function of this position is to handle all functions of accounts payable processes.

Role Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Clerk Junior will support the Accounts Payable function by ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time. Responsibilities include:

- Review and enter vendor invoices for payment.
- Match invoices against purchase orders.




- Monitor the shared Accounts Payable queue.
- Investigate invoice discrepancies and report issues to the AP Supervisor.
- Follow established work instructions and procedures.
- Provide daily updates regarding processed and pending invoices.
- Maintain relationships with vendors.
- Monitor the shared AP email inbox.
- Generate vendor payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Assist with month-end Accounts Payable close activities.

Must-Have Requirements

- Associate's Degree or higher.
- Relevant accounting experience.
- Advanced attention to detail and accurate data entry.
- Good time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- English proficiency.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- 1+ years of customer service experience.
- Experience working with vendor communications and invoice reconciliation
