About the Role
We are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer to help build the foundation for how data is collected, organized, and used across the company. English fluency required; please submit resumes and any supporting materials in English.
You'll work closely with leadership and engineering to connect data from our EHR, HR, marketing platforms, and other operational systems into a centralized PostgreSQL data warehouse. You'll own the analytics environment in our BI/visualization tool, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and transformed into dashboards that help leaders make better decisions, and will be a key contributor to the Python server that orchestrates data transformation & transfer.
This role blends analytics engineering, business intelligence, and data infrastructure. You'll spend time designing data models, building ETL workflows, creating executive dashboards, troubleshooting data issues, and helping establish best practices for how our fast-growing telehealth company manages data as we continue to scale.
Core Responsibilities
- Own and administer our self-hosted BI/Visualization tool environment
- Partner with engineering to design and maintain PostgreSQL analytics database
- Build and maintain data pipelines using APIs, SQL, Python, dbt, and ETL tools
- Connect and synchronize data across business systems, including our EHR, HR platform, marketing platforms, and other operational applications
- Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of data
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports for executive leadership and department managers
- Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and identify opportunities for new insights
- Design scalable data models that support accurate and consistent reporting
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across systems
- Establish and maintain standardized metric definitions and reporting documentation
- Automate reporting and spreadsheet workflows using Google Sheets, Python, and other automation tools
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through improved data processes and system integrations

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years working in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data engineering
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with PostgreSQL
- Experience building ETL pipelines and integrating APIs
- Strong knowledge of Python for data automation and scripting
- Experience with Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms
- Experience with dbt and designing relational database structures
- Familiarity with cron jobs and strong instinct for testing
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, or regulated industries
- Experience with marketing attribution data
- Experience integrating HRIS and CRM platforms
- Experience supporting executive reporting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $700,000.00 - $900,000.00 per year
